Jimmy Graham wears the number 88, Rob Gronkowski wears the number 87, but when injured, had 88-receiving yards. Honestly, both of their injuries seemed a little suspect to me. And I know for a fact that players routinely fake their injuries by the numbers, Tony Romo on Thanksgiving Day was a shining example.
Also, with regards to the Gronkowski injury, NBC Sports had a major graphic ready to go within seconds of his injury.
These two men, going down with the '88' connections, are considered the best TEs in the league. One other interesting note, Graham was injured in Washington and Gronkowski was injured in Colorado. These are the two states to legalize marijuana first, and let us not forget about the 'Up In Smoke Bowl' right after legalization for both states, Super Bowl 48.

Awesome connections Zach, sometimes I get bogged down in the numbers, and you bring in the big picture. It is impossible to deny how intricate/insane these people are. Sorry for the tome to follow (if it annoys you Zach using your posts for a sounding board, please let me know), but this is the latest rabbit-hole I've fallen down, while researching tonight's game.
ReplyDeleteAs we know Cleveland = 33, and Baltimore Ravens = 174. There's that connection again -- especially pertinent since the original Browns became the Ravens. Baltimore MD = 331 in Jewish Gem., and Baltimore, Maryland = 47 in Pi Gematria (which is really growing on me as a method). As a team Clev. is averaging 3.3 yards per rush this season, and QB Josh McCown has a birthday of 7/4, this year he has a 7.47 avg yards per pass and a career 4.7 avg yards per rush, and his name = 1774 in Jewish Gem.
The last game between these two teams was the 33rd meeting. Wouldn't you know it, Cleveland won 33-30 in OT, but it doesn't end there. In the 4th quarter, with 3:03 left, McCown had a 22 yard TD pass to Crowell (age 22 -- the number 22 figures just as prominently, but I won't get into it here, for brevity's sake, ha. Maybe later.), which gave the Browns their 30th point and a 3 point lead (after the extra point). In the game Balt. had 3 punt returns for 30 yards, Clev. had 74 yards in penalties, and Balt. RB Justin Forsett (who the previous game had a season long rush of 33 yards vs the Steelers), turned 30 years of age 3 days after the game, and was drafted 233rd. Against the Steelers Flacco also had 33 pass attempts and 3 rushes with 3 fumbles, and again in the next Balt. game, vs. San Francisco he had 33 completions.
But there's more. Amazingly enough there was another 33-30 OT game in Baltimore, also won by Cleveland, on a date with almost identical date numerology as the 33rd meeting (sharing the numbers 36, 56, 29, and 11). This was the 18th meeting between the teams, or 333333, and both teams scored 3 TD's and 3 FG's each in regulation, before Phil Dawson won it in OT with a 33 yard FG!
If that wasn't enough, for the teams' 9th matchup (or 3x3), in 2003, again in Baltimore but this time won by the Ravens 33-13, Balt. had a FG at 13:03, their QB Boller had 3 rushes for 3 yards, Clev had 133 Kick Return yards, and QB Holcomb had 147 yards passing.
It appears that as the years go by the coding becomes more and more blatant. When I try to wake people up to this stuff, the question I get more than any other, is why, which I haven't been able to give a coherent answer to. Is this about hiding in plain sight, the truth that it's all a ruse, for anyone with eyes to see?

But I have a feeling he is going to fall on his number, as it has been 1 year, 11 months and 1 day since Schaub's last start (or 100 weeks and 1 day), and 2 years, 2 months, 2 weeks and 2 days (counting end date) since his last victory. How quaint. Oh he is also going for career win #47, which would make the Ravens 4-7 on the year.
