WGN | Chicago National News Numerology

As a kid I used to always wonder why WGN News was being broadcast in Portland, OR.  It was the only city outside of Portland whose news we received, so why was it the case?  I could never figure it out.  Was it that Chicago usually had good sports teams and fans wanted to watch it?  I grew up in the time of the Jordan dynasty, and decent Blackhawk and Cubs/Whitesox teams.  Still, other cities had good sports teams as well and they weren't being broadcast live, 24/7, like WGN was.  What has finally given me a major clue, is numerology.  Let us checkout the master numerology of WGN.

Sears Tower was purchased in Chicago on day of Madrid Train Bombings, which took place 911 days after the September 11, 2001 attacks, on March 11, 2004.  The next year the 'Liberty 7' plot to destroy the Sears Tower would be thwarted by the government, at least so the story goes.
