Huey P. Newton established the Black Panther Party in 1966, in Oakland, not far from where Super Bowl 50 was hosted, where Cam Newton, the "Black Panther", played in his first Super Bowl, becoming the 58th QB to start in a Super Bowl.

Anyhow, Fred Hampton's death truly was synched with Super Bowl 50, something I suspected before the Panthers even appeared in the Super Bowl last year. Hampton died in '69 and the Super Bowl was played in '16, 47-years later. He died in Chicago, the birthplace of the National Football League as well.
