106 | Roy Halladay's Second No Hitter of 2010... Was On October 6

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roy_Halladay

Recall, Scherzer's first no hitter was of 106 pitches and the second no hitter came 106 days later.  Also, the first ever player to throw two no hitters in one season, Johnny Vander Meer, died on October 6.  Vander Meer played for the Reds, who Halladay threw his second no hitter against...

Roy Halladay was playing for the Philadelphia Phillies when he tossed two no hitters in one season.  Recall earlier this year, there was a Philadelphia Train Wreck, where the train was traveling 106 mph.  Would you believe the Gematria of train wreck?

And let us not forget that last year's World Series was San Francisco vs Kansas City.  The original Kansas City team was the Athletics, that now also play in the Bay Area, like the San Francisco Giants, who are originally from New York.

One last point, the fastest pitch ever thrown, was a 106 mph fast ball by a Reds pitcher.  Again, Halladay had his second no hitter, October 6, against the Reds.
