93 144 | The Last Time the Blue Jays Were In the World Series, 1993
The Toronto Blue Jays have been in the World Series two times, 1992 and 1993. The Blue Jays defeated the Atlanta Braves in '92 and the Philadelphia Phillies in '93. What stands out is the Blue Jays finished with 93-wins this year and are favorites by many to make the World Series in the AL. Currently, they trail the Rangers 2 Games to 1.
If they were to make the World Series, I think it would be against the Cubs. Remember, the Cubs are in their 144th year of existence, if you count back to 1871 and the time of the Chicago White Stockings. The number 144 also connects to Canada.
