Think of all the 114 coded into this story already, and recall, the shooting took place l14-days after the city's 146th birthday, in the time of the 114th congress, and at the same time Los Angeles's City Council was making a 11-4 vote to allow retired police officers to have longer clips for their handguns, greater than the capacity of an ordinary citizen.
