Notice the girls went to 'Ahwatukee' High, not far from where the Cardinals play.  This is fitting for a story synching up with the NFL.

NFL = 14+6+12 = 32 (32 teams in NFL)



One last point, it is interesting that only the '59' letters are involved.

NI = 14 9 or 5 9
ER = 5 18 or 5 9

Negro = 59
Slave = 59
Blues = 59

 Ahwatukee = 1+8+23+1+20+21+11+5+5 = 95
