Bank 311: Do you bank with Bank of America?

Have you ever looked at Bank of America's logo carefully?  If you count, you'll notice the flag that makes up the Bank of America logo is "three-elevens", two of which are red, and one of which is blue.  Bank of America is the second largest holding company in the United States, only behind JP Morgan.  It is the third largest non-oil company in the world, only behind Wal-Mart and General Electric.  Bank of America serves 60 million people in the United States at 5,600 branches and with 16,200 vending machines.  The bank was originally founded in 1904 as the Bank of Italy, out of San Francisco, California.  Today Bank of America is headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina.  Bank of America is on the Board of Governors for the Federal Reserve.

Bank of America's design is a coded 311, and so is the U.S.A.
  • U = 21 = 2+1 = 3
  • S = 19 = 1+9 = 10 = 1+0 = 1
  • A = 1
