Notice that Oregon and Ohio met in the MLS Championship, the 33rd and 17th State. Oregon took it on December 6, 2015.

In history, 33 has been quite important to the MLS.
So are the numbers '47' and '74'.
Ohio = 15+8+9+15 = 47
Oregon = 15+18+5+7+15+14 = 74
The President of the MLS is 'Don Garber'.
Don = 4+15+14 = 33
Garber = 7+1+9+2+5+9 = 33
Notice the date they started the league, December 17, 1993.
12/17/1993 = 1+2+1+7+1+9+9+3 = 33
