ReplyDeleteIt's worse. Atleast in the book everyone knew and acknowledged that they were being controlled. We live in the age of the Audience. You either sell yourself and shoot for stardom, which most stars are predestined for, or you settle as a member of the audience and hope one day you get a chance to bid on the Showcase Showdown. Fuck most of these people.
