Today, October 25, 2016, the 71st season of the NBA begins.
10/25/2016 = 10+25+20+16 = 71
The World Series will also begin today between the Chicago Cubs, who haven't been to the World Series in 71-years (1945), and the Cleveland Indians, who are 7-1 in the postseason before the start of the World Series. Let's examine the hype for the start of the NBA season, but when the playoffs roll around, remember the 'Cleveland vs Chicago' World Series, because that is going to be your Eastern Conference Finals this year.
Above is the cover page of ESPN this morning, the start date of the new NBA Season. What I'll add to the headline, is that if there is not to be a repeat of the NBA Finals, it will likely be the Golden State Warriors vs the Chicago Bulls, the team that the Warriors eclipsed the win record for last season, outdoing the Bulls 1996, 72-10 season, finishing 73-9.
Consider this as well.
The Cavs are in their 47th season this year. Ohio = 47
The Philadelphia Warriors (now Golden State) defeated the Chicago Stags in the first BBA Championship (now the NBA), in 1947.
Notice the gematria of 'Chicago Stags' and 'Chicago Bulls' in light of the parallels with the 112th World Series.
The gematria isn't too far off from 'Warriors' either.

LeBron in NYC to start the season, eh? I still think LeBron's next team is the New York Knicks, likely at age 33. LeBron James = 42; NYC = 42
King James = 89

In the Karl Malone days, Blazer fans favorite team to beat was the Utah Jazz.

This season, we might see Warriors and Spurs in the Western Conference Finals.
