For this person, it was showing them that sports are rigged and who is responsible.
Once enough people are awake, the next step is to organize and take the game back over. Only enough people will awake however, if enough people speak out.

ReplyDeleteYou are SO RIGHT!! It doesn't have to be this way. I thought your idea about having ONLY hometown players on each team was EXCELLENT! There's no legitimate reason for people to rally behind someone who's lived in a dozen cities over the past decade. The ONLY way to ensure that players are who they claim to be, is for people to be able to follow them locally -- from high school on up. People SHOULD have teams made up of people they went to school with, & whose parents they actually KNOW. It's a concept I believe people will increasingly be ready to accept ... then DEMAND. The financial hoodwink of taxpayers funding the construction of stadiums, is starting to wear thin on people who are now MANDATED BY LAW to pay for outrageously priced insurance that provides them with no true benefit! :D :D
