### 33 54 57 123 | Alex Wood, Dodgers Pitcher and the 112th World Series

The man pictured is Alex Wood.  His #57 stands out because the Dodgers were in the World Series 57-years ago.  The Dodgers defeated the Chicago White Sox that year.

In light of his 1/12 birthday, the 112th World Series is upcoming.  I'll have to keep the Dodgers in mind for a chance at upsetting my Cubs pick.  If any team were to do it this year, I think it would be the Dodgers.

1. Yes, check if any teams line up with the date of the game, or any star players or coaches.

18/5/2016 = 18+5+20+16 = 59
18/5/2016 = 18+5+(2+0+1+6) = 32

4. This might be nothing. Was checking the MLB website the other day and they mentioned square root day (4/4/16) falling at the start of the season. The last time we had a square root day during a baseball season was in '81 when the dodgers beat the Yankees. There was a square root day in '09 aswell but that wasn't during the baseball season. Yankees won that one.
