46 112 | Cubs Jake Arrieta throws first no-hitter of the season against Reds, April 21, 2016, the 112th day of the year

This no-hitter comes 46-days after Jake Arietta's 30th birthday.

No Hitter = 5+6+8+9+2+2+5+9 = 46
Chicago = 3+8+9+3+1+7+15 = 46

Chicago = 3+8+9+3+1+7+6 = 37

Last year I compiled numerous posts having to do with 'prophecy', the Cincinnati Reds and "no hitters".  Now here are the Cubs, getting the first no hitter of the season, on the 112th day of the year. We'll see if this event is prophetic when the 112th World Series rolls around this Fall.

Arrieta completed the no hitter with 119 pitches, adding to the curiosities.

4 walks, 6 strikeouts, eh?

On this same date, the Astros fell to 5-11, losing to the Rangers who improved to 10-6.  Remember, I like Houston to be in the World Series against the Cubs, because it is the '112th'.

Houston = 8+15+21+19+20+15+14 = 112

On this same date, Prince died in Minnesota, a death seemingly connected to the world of pro sports, and possibly the upcoming World Series.  I notice the Twins won big today, improving to 5-11.

Recall the connection between 511, 93 and 'time'.  It is still early in the season, the records are symbolic.
