Willie McCovey, the San Francisco Giant, has died October 31, 2018, days after the conclusion of the 114th World Series.  Recall, the San Francisco Giants are the only team in the MLB with 114 name gematria, as follows.

Making matters worse, McCovey died 42-weeks after his birthday.
