If you ask most citizens of the United States what they have done for their country, they'll likely blankly stare at you, then say they have voted, and in some cases, say they have done jury duty. Others might also add that they've put an "awareness ribbon" on their car or person for a cause, whether it be AIDS, Breast Cancer, the military, etc.
In the years after the wars began following 9/11, it was common for citizens in this country to have yellow ribbons on their car, showing their support for the troops and the wars, or invasions, or however you want to look at them. For me personally, they were just a major annoyance. They seemed cheap, and supporting the unlawful wars that they were, also seemed wrong. To support the troops in my opinion, meant to help end the unjust wars. After all, if we're using the troops for illegal purposes, then we're technically exploiting them, and not really supporting them, even if we have or had yellow ribbons on our car or elsewhere.
By little surprise, the numerology of the word ribbon is "33".
- Ribbon = 9+9+2+2+6+5 = 33
For years I've been telling people that the breast cancer awareness campaign, complete with pink ribbons, is a giant hoax. Cancer is something that is used as a tactical weapon and source of major revenue for the system we are all born into. Surely by now, with all of the dollars spent on cancer research, we'd have much greater advancements. In my lifetime we've made major advancements in countless areas, but not so much with cancer... which just doesn't make sense, especially when it is as big of a killer as it is.
Did you notice the word "find" on the cancer awareness ribbon above in the phrase "Find the cure"? It is a clue, much like "ribbon".
- Find = 6+9+14+4 = 33
BINGO!!!!!
