DowJones Record 17,000 Close on July 3, 2014 | Decoding the Headlines

First, let us recall that the DowJones is a numerology based name.
  • Name = 14+1+13+5 = 33
  • DowJones = 4+6+5+1+6+5+5+1 = 33
  • Dow = 4+15+23 = 42
Here is an excerpt from CNN's reporting on the Dow's record 17,000+ close.  It should be noted that the Dow surpassed 16,000 for the first time less than six months ago.  More importantly, history shows that before major collapses, come major, unprecedented, and very hard to explain surges, much like the one we're experiencing now.

Bow Wow -- PetSmart stock spikes: PetSmart (PETM) shares were howling at the moon, up 12.5% after hedge fund Jana Partners announced a 9.9% stake with intentions of exploring a sale of the company. In other moves, embattled clothiers American Apparel (APP) and Lululemon (LULU) traded higher. Shares in the two are finished nearly 5% and almost 3% higher, respectively. There's a lot of news around American Apparel, where Reuters reports that former CEO Dov Charney has handed off his stake to hedge fund Standard General.
The abbreviations APP and LULU are both quite revealing; of course we're all familiar with the word 'app' in the year 2014, the age of the "smart phone".
  • APP = 1+16+16 = 33
  • LULU = 12+21+12+21 = 66
  • LULU = 3333 in letters to numbers, Pythagorean Method
