42 44 | CNN's tribute to the Cascadia Subduction Zone on the 42nd day of the year, February 11, 2016

This is a headline for people who don't live in the Pacific Northwest. Since I was in kindergarten we've been told we live on the worst fault line in the world and someday the most horrific earthquake will pummel the region. I've been waiting for it ever since. That said, in 2001, shortly after George W. Dumb as Fuck Bush became President, the Olympia-Seattle area had a fairly major earthquake that was felt even south of Portland, OR, more than 200 miles away. I was near Portland and the ground must have shook for at least 15 seconds straight, the only earthquake that I've ever felt with my own body. Technically, I should have felt more, because there have been other small ones that others around me have felt, but somehow I seem to never notice them.

What is interesting to note, is this story comes on February 11, 2016, the 42nd day of the year, and is largely centered on Washington State, the 42nd state in order of statehood, that is named after George Washington, the President born on the 42nd day of the year, in the calendar of his times, the Julian Calendar.

Based on what they're saying, a lot more than 11,000 people should die. Much of Seattle is old and those buildings are ready to fall over. If I was in my old apartment when it happened, there is no way I would have survived, nor anyone else in the building, nor anyone else for blocks and block and blocks.

My favorite part of the San Andreas movie about the massive earthquake felt from coast to coast, is when they call out the record earthquake, "IT IS A 9.6"!!!!

Who remembers 'Andreas' Lubitz in front of the Golden Gate bridge? I remember the airplane crash hoax blamed on him took place on the '44th Parallel'...

Seattle is alongside Interstate-5, which in part is a massive bridge over the Lake Union and Lake Washington inlet. If that collapsed, the city would be absolutely fucked.
