47 118 144 233 | More alignment for a Giants and Colts Super Bowl, February 5, 2017, Super Bowl 51

The Giants and Colts have played eight times in the time of the 'Indianapolis' Colts.  The last time they played was November 3, 2014.  That marks exactly 118-weeks from Super Bowl 51.

The span of 2 years 3 months and 3 days stands out.  That is a lot like 233, the Fibonacci Number that follows 144.  Remember, Frank Gifford, who played in the last Giants and Colts Championship, died August 9, 2015, the day that leaves 144-days left in the year.  Frank Gifford's birth name also connects to 118, the number of weeks since their last matchup.

Francis = 6+9+1+5+3+9+1 = 34/43 (Frank = 6+9+1+5+2 = 23)
Newton = 5+5+5+2+6+5 = 28
Gifford = 7+9+6+6+6+9+4 = 47
Francis Newton Gifford = 109/118

Notice the Indianapolis Colts currently lead the series three games to four.  If the Giants were to win their next matchup, which could be in this Super Bowl, it would even the series at 4-4, a lot like '44'.

Forty-Four = 6+15+18+20+25+6+15+21+18 = 144
2/5/2017 = 2+5+20+17 = 44 (Date of Super Bowl 51)

Notice in the time of the Baltimore Colts, they lead the all-time matchups with the Giants 7-4, or from the Giants perspective, they trailed 4-7.  Again, the first Super Bowl was in the 47th season of the NFL, and the Colts and Giants have played twice in Super Bowls, with the Colts winning both, in '58' and '59.  Also, the next Super Bowl will be the 47th Super Bowl of the modern era.

Also notice how if the Giants were to win their next matchup, the all-time record would be 11-8, a lot like the 118 weeks from their last game until Super Bowl 51, the 47th Super Bowl of the modern era.

  1. Hey Zach love your prediction, just wait and see the schedule first if they don't play in the regular season against each other you know for damn sure they'll be playing the super bowl together!! Cuz it will ruin the super bowl surprise if they face each other in the season

  2. Current odds for a Colts Giants matchup are +15000 on 5dimes. $100 wins $15,000
