NY Times is rewriting history by saying that ousted Derby winner Maximum Security "Jumped A Puddle" = 219 ro, when no such thing happened. "Jumped The Shark" = also 219 ro, & this year's Triple Crown was as farcical as Fonzi's infamous stunt. There was NO "puddle" (in the Derby) -- & none was EVER mentioned -- neither during the controversy nor in ANY of the subsequent lawsuits. But thanks to the NY Times & it's numerous subsidiaries, that's how "history" will now record this debacle. The Derby, Preakness & the Belmont were all blatant examples of shameless rigging. No doubt "Sir Winston" won because of the name's connection to Sir Winston Churchill ... on the very same day that "D-Day" was being "ritually celebrated" in Britain. "Master Fencer" -- the 1st Japanese horse to ever run in the Triple Crown -- was "INVITED" to run in the Derby, then skipped the Preakness & finished 5th in the Belmont. Too many WW2 connections to be a coincidence. The Fictional Puddle of the Derby, the Riderless Horse in the Preakness & the Wrong Horse in the Belmont ... they all seem to indicate that yet another Time Honored Tradition -- the Triple Crown -- has been officially squashed beneath the Entertainment Boot ... & 2019 is the year they scripted it to "Jump The Shark". :D ;D
