Surprise, surprise, the U.S. is one match away from being in the championship.

United States = 77 (Championship is on 7/7)
America = 50 

*If US makes it, the World Cup will be the 50th game played by the US women's team in the World Cup

The U.S.' next match is against England, on Alex Morgan's birthday.  Go figure.

Also interesting, France was eliminated today in their 19th World Cup match all-time.  *2019

    New trailer Hobbs & Shaw. movie about U.S and England released after England deafeated Norway and on the day U.S plays with France⚽️ The first trailer was released on Super Bowl 53 hinting a victory for the New England Patriots.
    + US plays France on the day the US buys concession to build the Panama canal from the French for $40 million in 1902.

    US men’s just defeated Panama and US women’s defeated France for this reason.

    “With the backing of the United States, Panama seceded from Colombia in 1903, allowing the construction of the Panama Canal to be completed by the US Army Corps of Engineers between 1904 and 1914.” And Colombia plays Chile in men’s soccer.. how about that.
