111 | From start of NBA Season to NBA All-Star Game, plus a look at NBA standings at All-Star Break

The NBA season began October 27, 2015.  From that date until February 14, the date of the All-Star Game, is a span of 111-days.  This is interesting because The NBA Finals has gematria of 111.

Notice the Cavs lead the Eastern Conference with 38 wins and 14 losses, with 30-games left to play.  It is interesting to note that 38 was a big number on the Super Bowl, which Stephen Curry became involved with through beating the opening ceremonial drum of the game for the Carolina Panthers, the team he was cheering for.

Panthers = 7+1+5+2+8+5+9+1 = 38
Super Bowl on 38th day of the year
Gold = 7+15+12+4 = 38 (Golden anniversary of Super Bowl in Golden State...)

Warriors = 5+1+9+9+9+6+9+1 = 49
San Francisco 49ers hosted Super Bowl...

Right now, Charlotte is the 8th seed, who just had their football team represented in the Super Bowl.

As for the Milwaukee Bucks, they are who won the NBA Finals in 1971-72, 44-years ago, the same year the Warriors moved to Golden State.

Notice the Philadelphia 76ers, who won the NBA Finals 33-years ago, and who are the original city of the Golden State Warriors, are in last place, with 8 wins and 45 losses.

In the Western Conference, the defending champions have a league best record, 48-4.  They're nearing the record for most wins in a season, a record held by the Chicago Bulls, who the Philadelphia Warriors, defeated in the first NBA Championship in '47, the 'Chicago Stags' then.

The Los Angeles Lakers are in last place in the Western Conference for Kobe's farewell season.  Recall the Lakers gave Philadelphia their first win of the season, and the Lakers, 44-years earlier, set the record 33-game win streak, that the Warriors were chasing.

Kobe = 11+15+2+5 = 33

  3. Don't forget the passing of the torch final game between LeBron and Kobe, 120-111 Cavs. That's a 12 for completion atop the NBA Finals-111
