I sure hope spreading this knowledge will help people see what a scam the lottery is. In school we had to read a "classic short story" called "The Lottery" by Shirley Jackson (that's how much it shocked me -- I STILL remember the author's name!) More recently, movies like "The Island" & "Cloud Atlas" have similar messages -- You DON'T Really Want To Be "The Winner". Even "The Hunger Games" tells people that. And what about the show "Winning The Lottery Wrecked My Life"? They're NOT HIDING that's it's a bad thing! It's like the old saying about having to INVITE a vampire into your home ... as long as people go along with it, the perpetrators feel THEIR conscience is clear. But still, every time I go to the store -- somebody's counting out change for a lottery ticket. People DO need to watch "1984" -- as many times as it takes until they start to see what we're REALLY living in. Great post! ;D :D

"The Price is Right" has begun its new season. It has been on the air since 1972 (44 years). I don't watch the show but I did as a kid. I turned on the TV this morning and it happened to be on. I started to think that the contestants are either crisis actors or the pool by which crisis actors are selected. It definitely has a scripted/rigged game feel to it.
