  1. I got the cubs for game 1, but the AL game is hard to call considering they have the same birthdays

  2. Check out the long comments I made about Cubs-Indians in the other Indians-Bluejays post.

  6. The Dodgers made two changes: adding Hernandez and Wood in place of Charlie Culberson and Austin Barnes. Hernandez is expected to start on Saturday night, and gives the Dodgers another right-handed option to use against the Cubs' plethora of left-handed relievers. Wood gives the Dodgers additional length from the bullpen -- something they could use after last series.

The only change from the NLDS? Removing Tommy La Stella in favor of a 12th pitcher. That pitcher is Zastryzny, who gives Joe Maddon another left-handed option to throw at a platoon-dependent team. Don't be surprised if Maddon uses Zastryzny -- as well as Wood and Montgomery -- to chase some of the Dodgers' left-handed bats from the game earlier than Roberts would like.

  7. A lot of money pouring in on the Cubs. Public smashed the run line at an alarming rate. If Cubs win, possibly by only 1.

I barely found out that the last time Cubs won was a conroversial one and some still think Giants still have been the NL winners not Cubs in 1908. Yesterday the drought turned 108 years old.Is the curse kicking in now?? Or no?,don't know too much about the lunar phases or what not but dodgers have not played a night game in this post season yet until 10/18 (118) or (181).tonight at 9:23 LA time the new moon presents itself according to timeanddate.com and in 1908 9/23 is when the conroversial game with Giants vs Cubs and Fred merkle "didn't touch 2nd base"

    3. Imagine the series follows the same pattern as Cav-Raps too. Cavs won the first 2. Indians look to be 2-0 after next inning.

    4. Dodgers or Cubs go down 3-1 and come back that would be comedy.
