216 | 2 Cleveland Championships in '16? A subscriber question worth considering....

This video has been frozen at 216 for at least 20-minutes.

(216), the Cleveland area code.

In the comments to the video linked below, someone asked, what about (2) Cleveland championships in (16), being the home of the (216)?  I think that is a great question.  There is a narrative for the Indians here...

  1. I was watching espn and they flashed that on the bottom news ticker. That there were only a few teams to ever do it or something like that. LA in 1988 was one of the teams that's all I remember.

    1. MLB and NBA combo has only happened twice.

      1988 Dodgers/Lakers
      2002 Angels/Lakers

      LA both times

    3. 2002 Angels were actually Anaheim, not LA, but they're originally from LA. Check this out, the 1961 Angels played in LA at Wrigley Field, lol.

The "Los Angeles Angels" name originates from the first Los Angeles-based sports team, the Los Angeles Angels, who took the name "Angels" from the English translation of "Los Angeles", which means "The Angels" in Spanish. The team name started in 1892; in 1903, the team name continued in L.A. through the PCL, which is now a minor league affiliate of MiLB. The Angels franchise of today was established in MLB in 1961 after former owner Gene Autry bought the rights to continue the franchise name from Walter O'Malley, the former Los Angeles Dodgers owner who had acquired the franchise from Phil Wrigley, the owner of the Chicago Cubs at the time. As stated in the book Under the Halo: The Official History of Angels Baseball, "Autry agreed to buy the franchise name for $350,000, and continue the history of the previously popular Pacific Coast League team as his own expansion team in the MLB."[2] After the Angels joined the Major Leagues, some players from the Angels' PCL team joined the Major League Angels in 1961.

An expansion franchise, the club continued in Los Angeles as the Los Angeles Angels, and played their home games at Los Angeles' Wrigley Field (not to be confused with Chicago's stadium of the same name), which had formerly been the home of the PCL Los Angeles Angels. The Angels were one of two expansion teams established as a result of the 1961 Major League Baseball expansion, along with the second incarnation of the Washington Senators (now Texas Rangers). The team then moved in 1962 to newly built Dodger Stadium, which the Angels referred to as Chavez Ravine, where they were tenants of the Los Angeles Dodgers through 1965.

Lived in LA my whole life and didn't even know that.

    4. Is that the only years two teams won? 88 to 02 is 14 years. 02- to 16 another 14 years...

    5. 14 year end streaks. We all know 14 ends. Maybe another 14 years starts again. Perhaps Cubs broke the going to the WS streak but Indians break their streak?

    6. we just heard about 14 game win streak for Indians after Cavs won NBA finals...Maybe ur on to something?

    7. also this does not have to do with baseball but it does have to do with ending a 14 year streak. The Oakland Raiders are 5-2 and have a great chance at making the playoffs and it has been exactly 14 years since the last time that happened.

  3. Cleveland is not winning the World Series. Stop tricking yourselves.

Chicago will beat Cleveland the way Hillary Clinton will beat Donald Trump.

    This is not rocket science.

The odds alone tell me that the bookies don't want anyone to bet Chicago.

  5. Good point, but I really don't see the powers that be being that generous to Cleveland the most infamously cursed sporting city. They already got the 216 tribute with the Cavs for 2(0)16. That being said, I didn't see the Indians even making the World Series....but I'm a gematria novice

  10. http://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/page/playoffs16_battleofthedroughts/wait-chicago-cubs-cleveland-indians-actually-going-win-world-series

This is interesting. The time stamp on the first video is 2:07.

"Two hundred and seven" = 216

It also shows that Corey Kluber, starting pitcher for Game 1, has a stat of .216 Opp BA coming into the game.

Then, towards the middle/bottom, they have a list of their 32 experts picking who will win the series, how many games, and the MVP. There's a guy named Rafael Rojas Cremonesi.

    "Rafael Rojas Cremonesi" = 207

"Two hundred and seven" = 216

A lot of the names they listed, the "experts", have interesting gematria values too. I was trying to see if there was riddles in the names and I think there definitely is.

  11. Indians postseason 7-1, with sweep 11-1 (111)
    Cubs postseason 7-3, get swept 7-7 (77)
Cubs World series record 19-33, get swept 19-37 (37)
    Jon Lester = 37
    Jon Lester Bday Jan 7, 7/1 - Indians 7-1 postseason, swept 11-1 (111) Jon Bday 1+7+19+84= 111
Jon Lester started NLCS Game 1 with 77 pitches, and 5th game 108 pitches, post season record could be 7-7 on their 108 year drought.
If CUbs lose first 3 games, maybe Lester starts game 4 and gets swept.

NLCS painting a picture for the world series? Doubt it, but that was sure fun to connect the dots. I'll do more if I have time.
