33 48 50 88 103 144 156 | NLCS Game 6 box score, October 22, 2016, Cubs advance to World Series

The NLCS ended on the right date.

NLCS = 14+12+3+19 = 48
10/22/16 = 10+22+16 = 48

It concluded in 'Game Six'.

Game Six = 33/42/78

In the 8th inning, just before Kyle Hendricks threw his 88th and last pitch of the game, the announcer told the story of Billy Sianis, his goat, and the 'Curse of the Billy Goat'.  Again, October 22, 2016, was the 46-year anniversary of his death, which took place October 22, 1970.

Chicago = 46; Chicago Cubs = 46

Notice the final score, 5-0.  And don't forget, Bill Murray just said the day prior to the game that the curse would be broken, October 22, 2016.

5 runs 7 hits?  World Series = 57

America = 50
Bill Murray = 50

The Cubs won their four games with the respective scores.

8-4, 10-2, 8-4, 5-0
That is 31-10, for a total of 41 runs

United States of America = 84/102

Notice the Cubs starter came out after '88' pitches, the number connected to time and the Dodgers last World Series win, 1988.  There stitches on a baseball are also made out of 88" of thread.  Of course the name of the pitcher, Kyle Hendricks, also connects to 'time'.

Kyle Hendricks = 144
Pearl Harbor Day = 144 (His birthday)
Time = 144
Seventy-One = 144 (Seventy-one years since Cubs were in a World Series)
Forty-Four = 144

Also notice that the Cubs had 103 total pitches, like the number of wins in the season.

Billy Goat = 103
Jacob Arrieta = 103

    Last night's game was exactly 46 years to the date since the cubs had last made the world series

  3. Looking forward to Zach's World Series analysis of Chicago and Cleveland. Wondering about the direct highway connection of Chicago and Cleveland: Interstate 90 (John F. Kennedy Expressway, Dan Ryan Expressway, Chicago Skyway, Indiana Toll Road and Ohio Turnpike). According to Google maps, there are 352 miles between Wrigley Field and Progressive Field.
