85 93 | Duke defeats UNC Wilmington to open Men's Basketball Tournament, 93-85


The first game to wrap up in the tournament was a North Carolina team (Duke) over another North Carolina team, UNC Wilmington.  Notice the final outcome of 93-85.  In '93, Dean Smith and the Tar Heels won the National Basketball Championship.  Dean Smith = 93

 That score of 85 also stands out.

Basketball = 2+1+19+11+5+20+2+1+12+12 = 85

 This goes well with North Carolina taking the tournament.  Time will tell.

    In my crazy pick Upset of the Year bracket, I picked Duke to march all the way. It's my yeah right bracket.
