13 31 | Leicester City defeated Manchester City (Premier League) 3-1, Super Bowl 50 connection?

Big win today for Leicester City over Manchester City.  Recall, Leicester City sent the NFL Carolina Panthers some very interesting t-shirts at the start of the playoffs.

Read about t-shirts here:

It should be noted the team in black won tonight, wearing the 'king power' jerseys.

King = 11+9+14+7 = 41
Power = 16+15+23+5+18 = 77
King Power = 118 (1 vs 18, Super Bowl QBs)

King = 2+9+5+7 = 23
Power = 7+6+3+5+9 = 32
King Power = 55 (Broncos and Elway are 55)

  1. Ever since Jamie Vardy broke the consecutive goal scoring record, the fix was on for Leicester to win the Premier League. Never before have Leicester come anywhere near close to winning the Title. They came 2nd in feckin 1929, :) Gary Lineker (their greatest ever player, Leicester supporter and host of BBC's Match of the Day), is the big give-away. To think I used to love the Premiership and hit the boozer every Sunday for Ford Super Sunday :D ... Grrrrrrr. Bastards! :D ha.

    1. Ohh and since BT Sport aquired rights to show Premier League games in Feb. 2015 ... Leicester have been on a tear, from last season, surviving relegation by a miracle of wins to this years top of the league/record breaking season ... gotta wonder what BT Sport are up to as well...

    2. Dar, I think its got a lot to Di with player movement.
      Idk if ya remember back when EPL started, Leeds Utd won the year before it started, Eric Cantona leaves Leeds, goes to Man U and the year,after, Man U wins the title.
      David Batty went to Blackburn Rovers, and they win title the year after. Now, David May leaves Blackburn and goes to MAN U, and they win it again.
      I need to look into the next few years but when Man City win, Carlos Tevez left Man U to go there.
      This year, Petr Cech left Chelsea, to go to Arsenal but there was also a goalkeeper (can't remember his name), went to Leicester from Chelsea!
      I say Leicester win it this year.
      Then the movie comes out just like when they were making a movie about the Red Sox a few years ago (Drew Barrymore was in it) and they win the WS.

    6. Oh and when Vardy broke the record ... From his first goal on August 29th to his 11th on November 28th, was a span of exactly 13 weeks. I had wrote it was 3 months 6 days but added it wrong at the time.
