46 | Warriors record season and the pursuit of Chicago Bull's '95-'96 record season (Warriors 46th win night before 46th Super Bowl of modern era)

Keep in mind that Golden State is chasing Chicago's record season from '95'-'96.  Notice this article emphasizes that after their 46th game.

Chicago = 3+8+9+3+1+7+15 = 46

Also, keep in mind that the Warriors are originally from Philadelphia.

As I post this article tonight, Golden State just earned their 46th win over the Oklahoma Thunder.  This comes on the day before the 46th Super Bowl of the modern era, hosted in the Bay Area.  Coincidence?  I think not.

Golden State = 122
San Francisco = 122

San Francisco 49ers hosting 46th Super Bowl of modern era at Levi's Stadium.

Levi's Stadium = 46

  1. I actually think OKC is going to the Finals this year. I just can't see a straight rematch in the Finals and can't see anyone beating out the Cavs in the East. Hell, no one even talks about the East. Golden State will tie the regular season record then fall in conference finals.

    OKC v Cleveland

    1. I will say though, should Carolina win this is a pretty clear vindication that State repeats. They are in Oakland after all and Stephie is a Carolinian.

    2. I am thinking with all the headlines about Curry being the star of the league and not LeBron, the Warriors are more likely to repeat this year than the Cavs. The Warriors are getting huge tributes that line up with NBA Finals all season. So far, that isn't true for the Cavs. Last year a lot of people said my Warriors and Cavs pick was wrong because it was going to be Warriors and Bulls or some other team and Bulls. I notice this year the media is hyping Chicago even more than last year... I'm still trying to determine what's what. I haven't seen a game like February 26, 2015 to make me make the pick yet.
