Lightning and Thunder, NHL & NBA Parallels

https://www.nhl.com/news/no-canadian-nhl-teams-in-stanley-cup-playoffs/c-279984346

No Canadian teams in NHL playoffs?  What?

Think about the Toronto basketball team going further than ever in the same season.

If you're not aware, the NHL and NBA seasons are both 82-games, and they occur in the same seasons.

Something tells me we'll be seeing 'Lightning' and 'Thunder' this deep in both respective playoffs is not a coincidence.  Let's see what happens to these teams.

Update, the Lightning were eliminated in Game 7 of the Conference Finals before the Stanley Cup by a Pennsylvania team.  Will the 'Thunder' meet the same fate, who are playing the Warriors, originally from Philadelphia, PA?

  1. Nice work! Probably connected to Luke 10:18 and Revelation 6:1 in the Christian Bible. Satan falling as "Lightning" in Luks 10:18 and the voice as it were the noise of "Thunder"in Revelation 6:1..

  3. Great lightning and thunder connection Zach. Do you see any connections between the two Philadelphia train wrecks and the Pittsburg Penguins also.

  4. The Sharks beat the Blues tonight to advance to Stanley cup finals. This connects to Revelation also... the Beast rising out of the sea

  7. And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
    Revelation 13:1 KJV

131 connection. Sharks for the championship?

  12. Milo, you did nail the NHL. My apologizes for being pissed off about the spurs. As far as I can tell, I'd say the NHL is set up for Tampa. One thing I'm not sure anyone knows is that, Head Coach Jon Cooper won a championship in his 2nd year at the jr level, 2nd year at the AHL level and last year when they got to the final, there was so much story line about him going 2-2-2 but it clicked when i seen you like Tampa. That was mockery, he's gonna do it 2-2-3. No one believes they can beat pits or SJ. The time to bet them to win the cup, might as well be now.

  14. Which should also tell you that the Thunder won't clinch until the Lightning do. One follows the other afterall.

    1. I am actually feeling Pittsburg a little bit, but don't follow the sport really. I keep going back to the Disappearing Penguins article that Caspa found, which ended with a "they probably aren't really dead" paragraph then a Hockey joke.

    2. Looking at Pitts schedule, they were middle of the line up until Feb(when the article came out), in the article the penguins they do find by that point are lethargic, then after Feburary the Penguins started to win more, no longer a 500 team, they began to do better, the article then moves on to some penguins who are thriving and doing well, saying that it would be a couple more years before the colony was really effected.

The article ends with the joke that everyone should be happy the Penguins are doing well, unless they are a Flyers fans. Pitt lost to the Flyers to end the regular season, but are doing great now.
